VOGUING
Voguing is a dance style that originated in the early 1970s in Harlem, New York, among queer, especially trans*, African-American and Latinx people - in the so-called ‘ballroom scene’, which is a safe(r) space. The inspiration for the name comes from the fashion magazine Vogue. It's all about posing to music. There are 3 different voguing styles: Oldway, Newway and Vogue Fem.
At so-called balls, a kind of competition, different people compete or "vogue" against each other to then be crowned the winner of the evening. This form of expression is a rebellion against the heteronormative society and structures. It celebrates and gives a voice to people who identify as queer and/or BIPOC.

RE:CONNECT
From resistance to ease
We create a safe space with movement and mindfulness exercises so that you can connect with yourself and your body and tune into it. The aim is to activate your senses and consciously touch and feel again. Through your sensory perception, you will gain access to your inner resistance and strengthen your resilience in dealing with it in everyday life through targeted exercises. This will increase your connection with yourself and make it easier for you to find your flow.

EVOKE
Evoke is a dance workshop where you fully step into the present moment. We begin with a warm up to connect with breath, movement, and your intention, then move straight into choreography that asks for focus, energy, and presence.
You stay grounded while expanding into space, respond to the music, and let your expression guide the movement. Each gesture carries energy and intention, keeping you fully present as you bring the choreography to life.
